Steam Pudding

60 g Butter
60 g Sugar
2 Tablespoons Jam
Pinch salt.
180 g Flour
1-Teaspoon Baking Powder
1-Teaspoon Baking Soda
2 Tablespoons Milk

Melt butter, sugar and jam in pot. Sift flour and salt into a greased bowl. Add in butter plus milk. Mix well. Place bowl in large pot of boiling water cook for 1 hour. Serve with custard and cream.

For chocolate steam pudding add 1 tsp cocoa and add 1 tablespoons Jam in bottom of bowl.

  Golden Syrup
